Questions people ask

Why is my summer bill so high?

Air conditioning pushes use into the higher slabs. Above 2,000 kWh a month every extra unit costs more, and the fuel surcharge applies to every unit.

What is the housing fee on my DEWA bill?

Tenants in Dubai pay 5% of their annual rent to Dubai Municipality. DEWA collects it in 12 monthly parts.

How can I check my real bill?

Use the DEWA app or dewa.gov.ae. This tool is for budgeting and checking that a bill looks right.
