QR code maker

Make a QR code for a website, WhatsApp, a phone number, a contact card, a location, Wi-Fi or an email, with your own words under it, ready to print.

  • Download PNG or SVG for printing
  • Choose the colour
  • Codes never expire

How to use it

  1. Choose what the QR code should open.
  2. Fill in the details, and add words to show under the code if you like (for example Taxi: scan to call).
  3. Download it as PNG, or SVG for sharp printing.

How to join Wi-Fi with the QR code

Scan the code once and the phone saves the network and its password, then reconnects by itself whenever you are in range. You do not need the QR code again.

📱 iPhone

  1. Open the Camera app and point it at the QR code.
  2. Tap Join network at the bottom of the screen, then tap Join.

QR code saved as a picture on the same iPhone? Open it in Photos, touch and hold the QR code (or tap the small QR symbol) and tap Join network.

🤖 Android

  1. Open the Camera app or Google Lens and point it at the QR code.
  2. Tap Connect to network. On some phones: Settings → Wi-Fi → QR symbol next to Add network.

QR code saved as a picture on the same phone? Open it in Google Photos, tap Lens, then Connect to network.

Tip: a phone cannot scan its own screen, so print the code (for the wall, the fridge or the reception desk) or show it on another screen. Anyone who scans it gets your Wi-Fi password, so put it only where you are happy for visitors to join.

Questions people ask

What can I put under the QR code?

Any short words, such as Scan to WhatsApp us or Taxi: scan to call. They are printed under the code so people know what it is for. The phone only reads the code itself.

What does a contact card QR code do?

When someone scans it, their phone offers to save your name, number, email, company and website straight into their contacts. Great for business cards.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The information is inside the code itself, so it keeps working for ever and we never see who scans it.

How does the Wi-Fi code work?

Guests point their phone camera at it and tap to join, without typing the password.
