How fuel prices are set in the UAE
- Since August 2015 the UAE Fuel Price Committee sets retail petrol and diesel prices every month, following average world oil prices.
- The new prices are usually announced in the last two or three days of the month and apply from the 1st.
- Prices are the same in every emirate and at every station: ADNOC, ENOC, Emarat and others.
- The prices include 5% VAT.

Which petrol should I use?
Use the grade in your car’s manual or on the inside of the fuel flap. Most cars run on Special 95. Super 98 is for high-performance engines, and E-Plus 91 is fine for many older or small engines that allow it.
When are next month’s prices announced?
Usually on the 28th to the last day of the month. As soon as they are announced, they appear on this page above the cards.
Are prices different in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?
No. The same prices apply across all seven emirates.
