The list covers the main government and private hospitals in every emirate. Tap Map, phone & hours to see the hospital’s phone number, opening hours and reviews on Google Maps. Always call ahead for appointments, and check that the hospital accepts your insurance.
How to use it
- Type the name of your area or community (for example Al Barsha, Al Nahda or Khalifa City) and choose it from the list. Or tap 📍 Near me and allow your location.
- The hospitals appear from nearest to farthest, with the distance in a straight line.
- Use the buttons to narrow the list: Government, Private, 24-hour emergency, Children or Women & maternity. You can also choose an emirate.
- Tap 🗺️ Map, phone & hours to open the hospital on Google Maps, with its phone number and opening hours.
- To see the way from your place: tap 🧭 Directions. Google Maps opens with the hospital as the destination. Where it says Choose starting point, type your address (or choose Your location). The map then shows the route and the estimated travel time by car, taxi, public transport or on foot.
Questions people ask
Which hospital should I go to in an emergency?
Call 998 for an ambulance in a serious emergency. If you go yourself, choose a hospital with a 24-hour emergency department: use the “24-hour emergency” button above. Government and private emergency departments must treat life-threatening emergencies whatever your insurance.
Can I go to a government hospital as a resident?
Yes. Residents can use government hospitals; your health insurance decides what you pay. Many insurance plans also cover private hospitals in their network, so check your insurance card or app first.
Why is my area not in the list?
We list the main areas and communities. If yours is not there, type a nearby area or landmark, or tap “Near me”.
Are clinics included?
This first list covers hospitals. Large clinics and medical centres will be added next.
